I am writing this on my own accord (not being influenced with freebies or anything) and it's safe to say, this is by far my favorite product from Nootropics Depot. I'm actually coming back to order more and thought I'd drop a review while I was at it.
I take two in the morning with my coffee and plant-based vitamin. Sometimes I'll take it on an empty stomach but the only downside to that is my already terrible writing gets worse but I REALLY love the other effects (who needs writing anyway?). If I take it with food the effects are, of course, not as strong but still amazing.
Two caps last me all the way until I got to bed - so over 12 hours - and I'm finally proactive at my job instead of farting around all day. I seriously thought about trying to get a script for it but I definitely don't need it now thanks to this product. I still get side tracked some, but at least I'm super focused on it! I get more effect from a bottle of coke, 58mg of caffeine approximately than 2 capsules at once. I don't know what is wrong with it, and it seems I am not the only one with a few people having the same issues.
ND Admin: The version you bought contains 100mg caffeine and 200mg L-theanine. That L-theanine dose seems to be a bit high for some people, causing them to either feel nothing or a bit tired. We've known this for a while, and have been working on a second option for people that need a bit more push and a little less L-theanine. So we are about to offer a flipped ratio option. This will have 100mg L-theanine and 200mg caffeine. That's going to be a better option for those that feel nothing or get tired from the higher theanine/lower caffeine option we have always sold. I find the balance to be exactly right. The caffeine is present but the buzz is not. This is the first Nootropic i have tried and it seems a bit strange that i am getting the benefits of caffeine without any jitters whatsoever.
But, it's also a trap. You might think that this stuff is not working, just because you expect the anxiety to hit you as well. Just be mindful of your body and your mind. Don't go overboard and have too many pills or add a regular coffee from day one.
That said, after about one week of taking one of these every day, i tried adding some regular (strong) coffee. The result was a very strong case of energy and very strong jitters. The accumulating effect is not to be taken lightly.

I'm used to drinking a lot of coffee or tea throughout the work day, but thats not always convenient or possible. This is a closer approximation to what I'm used to than just caffeine. J on 10th Sep 2018
So I used to be very big on drinking coffee but because of all the sugar and creamer and whatnot that I'd put into it I needed an alternative. So I had read about combining caffeine and l-theanine and some of the benefits that they bring. Well I can definitely say this stuff works after about 30 to 45 minutes of taking one. I feel my heart rate increase and I feel much more energy and woken up, word of caution if you have any heart issues be careful cuz like I say it will it increase your heart rate but nothing crazy. Again shipping was fast and honestly came before scheduled. As soon as I run out I'm definitely ordering more as it's now part of my daily stack. Unknown on 1st Aug 2018
Aniracetam and Caffeine L theanine are my go to nootropic for productivity, especially in a high pressure environment.
