EpiCor is a “yeast fermentate”- a natural, whole food powder comprised of various macro and micronutrients that are produced during a special fermentation process. It isn’t an extract or byproduct, nor is it a synthetically produced compound. EpiCor’s unique yeast fermentate is minimally processed and created using natural baker’s yeast that is fermented and dried via a proprietary process. EpiCor powder is not a yeast but yeast plays a key role in the production of it.
Created by Embria Health Science, EpiCor Powder begins with baker’s yeast which is starved of oxygen. Under this condition, the yeast cells produce immuno-supportive compounds, including antioxidants and proteins. Yeast cell compounds such as beta glucans are also preserved during the fermentation process. Next, a proprietary drying process is followed by gently milling the dried fermentate into proper storage containers. This entire process is completed following cGMP manufacturing guidelines to maintain Embria’s strict quality standards.
EpiCor benefits may include strengthening your body’s immune system. EpiCor has been shown to defend the immune system in 4 key ways:
Not only is EpiCor a whole, natural food with the power to boost your body’s immune system and help you stay healthy, but it also comes with science to back it up.

Amazing even got my parents taking it. Promotes healthy gut flora and wards off various illness. For instance, my whole family and friends just got ill (I think I was even a silent carrier, because it was first my family, *then* all my friends), and I managed to show no signs of illness ::knocks on wood:: srubek on 6th Jan 2017
I found that I was sick less this winter using this Epicore with only a couple of fleeting episodes with cold symptoms. It is an easy powder to handle and mix and doesn't have a bad taste or smell. I am giving less than five stars, however, because there are currently many encapsulated Epicore products on the market at more competitive prices. If you have a preference for powders or a dislike of additives and fillers however, this may be for you. Christopher on 28th Feb 2016
I work a lot of hours outside in the cold and consistent Epicor dosing has helped keep from getting sick or feeling run down, I would highly suggest it for anybody who is interested in avoiding common illnesses. Unknown on 7th Feb 2016
