N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine Capsules contain brain-boosting amino acids. N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, also known as NALT, is a modified form of the non-essential amino acid L-Tyrosine, or just Tyrosine. The addition of acetic acid makes the Tyrosine more bioavailable to the body, meaning it is more easily absorbed into the bloodstream. L-Tyrosine is synthesized by the body naturally in the creation of proteins, which is why it is a non-essential amino acid--we don’t require it through diet--but taking additional Tyrosine in the form of NALT may offer cognitive benefits.
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine is reported to have promote healthy stress levels, cognitive function, and other areas. N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine effects important neurotransmitters, pathways, and hormones, namely dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. Key areas that N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine is reported to offer benefits include:
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine is converted into melanin which comes with two benefits for the brain. Melanin helps to remove neurotoxicity-causing quinones and also helps to remove built-up heavy metals like mercury and lead from the brain.
As an amino acid, Tyrosine is a building block - it is a precursor to the neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These neurotransmitters play important roles in various processes in the body, notably in the areas of focus, attention, and alertness. They also have an effect on stress.
NALT is the most commonly used form of supplemental Tyrosine. It is considered safe and non-toxic for most healthy adults.
Because of its potenetial effects on brain health, cognitive function, and mood, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine may be helpful for managing stress and enhancing learning through improved focus, attention, and memory.
As a dietary supplement, take one 350mg N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine capsule daily.

I have used NALT for about 4 months now. I can definitely feel a boost in focus and cognitive processing. Strange as it seems, when I take it before going out for drinks I find that it levels out the effects of alcohol. I use it regularly and can speak confidently to it's capabilities.
