We publish what our lab finds, including the results that make the industry uncomfortable.

Research snapshots for every formula, white papers from our analytical lab, articles, a podcast, and the independent board that checks our claims before they go live. Start with whichever question you brought.

Behind the bottle

We stopped trusting contract manufacturers, so our founder built our own production facility and lab.

When ND started, it relied on contract manufacturers and outside labs like nearly every supplement brand. After repeated problems, from corner-cutting to batch specs that did not match reality to contaminated product, our founder Paul built the manufacturing company and the analytical lab himself. They are separate legal entities with separate teams, all owned and overseen by the founder, and they manufacture and test for other brands as well as for ND.

Manufacturing

Supplement Logistics

The dedicated manufacturing company: ingredient sourcing, custom formulation, capsule and tablet manufacturing, bulk powders, bottling and capping, and label printing under one roof, in a cGMP, FDA-registered facility. Its formulation team takes each ND product from the bioassaying stage to a finished bottle.

Testing

Omnient Labs

An independent ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited analytical laboratory specializing in novel bioactive testing for plants and fungi. Its scientists develop fit-for-purpose assays for compounds generic marker tests miss, from erinacine A in lion's mane mycelium to the full withanolide picture in ashwagandha, alongside identity, heavy metal, residual solvent, microbiological, and disintegration testing. Every ND batch goes through it before release.

Ingredients

Novelara

The ingredient company behind several of the standardized botanicals in ND products: erinacine A lion's mane mycelium grown without grain or fillers, Kashmir saffron standardized to crocins and safranals, and Jeju Island Ecklonia cava standardized to dieckol with DNA and HPTLC identity testing. Each ingredient is published with its source, specification, verification method, and the research that applies to it.

You have a right to know

Whomade your product, and whether it was a contract manufacturer.
Whereit was made, down to the address of the facility.
Howit was tested, by which lab, and whether that lab is accredited.
Whatthe full certificate of analysis says, not a summary of it.

Real transparency is a brand that has no trouble answering all four. Ours are on every product page and in the certifications we publish.

Analytical work we published because nobody else was going to.

The industry tests to surface markers. We profile the actual bioactives and publish what we find, including the parts that make the industry uncomfortable. We also support the Future Nutra Foundation, an independent non-profit that publishes product test results free to the public.
