Piracetam is a nootropic compound in the Racetam family. In fact, it is the parent compound of the Racetam family, which is a group of compounds that share a 2-Pyrrolidone base structure; which includes other nootropics like Aniracetam and Phenylpiracetam. Piracetam was first created in 1964 by a team of scientists under the leadership of Dr. Corneliu E. Giurgea. It is a nootropic compound that takes the form of a powder, which can then be put into Piracetam capsules for your convenience.
Piracetam may mildly influences cognitive, neuronal, and vascular function. Research has shown that Piracetam influences neurotransmitters and receptors in the brain and increases blood flow and oxygen consumption in parts of the brain as well.
Piracetam uses may be most applicable to improving cognitive function among the elderly. In other healthy people, a mild cognitive boost is notable, including improved short-term memory. More Piracetam benefits include:
Nootropics Depot offers 60ct. or 180ct. jars of Piracetam Capsules. Nootropics Depot's Piracetam Capsules have been lab-tested and verified for both product purity and identity.

2016, fearing the onset of Alzheimers, I was prescribed a prescription medication that totally threw me out of kilter -- dizzy, walking strangely, not myself. A dear friend happened to call, and when I described my mental condition, he immediately came to my rescue, and gave me two capsules of Piracetam 800mg. within in 30 minutes I was thinking clearer and feeling stable. That was 2+ years ago, and I credit Piracetam for getting me back on track. I am grateful for the quality of the Noortropics capsules, their affordable prices, and quick shipping.

I suffer from short-term memory problems due to epilepsy and I have difficulty concentrating because of that. Piracetam has helped me hugely with getting that in order. I use it in periods of a month every other month in a fairly low dosage and it makes me focused and sharp. Marc van Westen on 14th Feb 2018
I'd summarize my Experience with this nootropic by saying it makes everything your brain is good at doing and makes it for it better faster and easier. I am a fairly skeptical and scientific minded person but difference in my cognitive ability is objective. As for interacting in a stack and with perception medications makes Vyvanse, Ic bupropion HCL both feel a lot more potent and not as harsh after they wear off. Other nootropics I find this pairs well with are mo/arda/armo - dafinl and phenibut, bacopa and a array of ammio acids. Daniel Layman on 8th Feb 2018
I have been using this product for about a year now to help stave off dementia. Both of my parents had dementia, and I was looking for something that would help me avoid it or at least keep it at bay. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to sharpen their mind. I have been taking 1600mg for over a year. I didn't feel much in the first month, I thought I did, but I didn't. I'm stronger faster smarter now. You Will Notice! You will become the better version of you, the way just gets clearer. Unknown on 18th Jan 2018

I like it. It's a very subtle feeling. It takes about 3-4 day to start feeling it though. However, there's a bit of a discrepancy between what's being advertised and what I got. Online, it says that the other ingredients were filler and flow agent. The capsules that I received contain neither filler or flow agent--only piracetam (the only other ingredient listed is vegetable cellulose). I compared the appearance of the capsules to some piracetam I previously got from ND and they're noticeably different. There are crystals inside as opposed to a powder. Personally, I prefer no fillers or flow agents, so, this is a plus. Just give me the main ingredient. My only gripe is that this wasn't advertised. I also bought lion's mane, but in the powdered form. I would have bought capsules, but I didn't want the filler. Now I question whether or not it would have contained filler!
ND Admin: The filler the flow agent used depend both on the milling size of the batch of piracetam we get, and the specific machine we use. We ideally don't use them if we don't have to, and most piracetam batches don't need it. However, rather than reject a 1,000 kg batch because it is milled a bit finer, we would prefer to to just adjust our encapsulation for that lot. Unknown on 28th Dec 2017
I did not notice any memory boost from using this product however when i take it with coffee. it really gives clarity that is somewhat to a HD vision for a couple hours Unknown on 20th Dec 2017
Unfortunately, I am not too happy with my experience with this product. I was excited to give Piracetam a try since falling in love with it's effects on my mental recall and clarity several years ago. I supplemented with 800mg a day for week 1, 1600mg for week 2, 2400mg for week 3&4. I would consider trying this product again but am a bit skeptical. Perhaps, it takes longer for the body to feel the effects?
ND Admin: Piracetam is more of a subtle one that builds effects over time. You might also need to take a stronger choline source with it, like alpha-GPC. Also, some people just don't react to certain racetams. You might try some different ones, like Aniracetam, Coluraceta, or Fasoracetam. Unknown on 7th Dec 2017
Small improvement in clarity, focus. Increased the dosage but no noticeable difference.
Estimate 1/4 as effective as Modafinil.
Best thing was the side effect of nice dreams which improve my general feeling of well being and happiness.
Will continue taking for this reason.
Results no noticeable difference for for Aniracetam and Piracetam. Ian on 29th Nov 2017
