Recently added this to take in the afternoon with NALT from ND and I am definitely impressed. Even on its own, it gives a noticeable spike in energy and mood. I am prescribed a stimulant for attention issues and the comedown crash can be intense in the late afternoon. This makes a great difference.

One 500 mg dose improves mental function and attention for about 5 hours or so, an effect possibly due to prior nutritional issues. The effect is perhaps 15-20% of the racetams, but does not have the distinct starts and ends of those substances. The product does slightly increase my blood pressure and heart rate, I use it on an intermittent basis, so activities secondary to the effect I am noticing may present themselves if greater amounts in the dose or use on a more continual basis is decided on.
I'm getting old and I think that this improves my mood, I had the giggles when I was on it but not all the time.

ND has superb quality supplements, this is perhaps the highest quality ALCR I have found on the market in many years. Having used ALCR for over 20 yrs., this product is legit, just take 1 capsule before each meal, or 2 caps before a workout and track your result over 1-2 months. ND's ALCR is one of the bet I have used. Great job ND, keep your QC up on this product! 1,000 to 1,500 mg of ALCR works best for me, YMMV...

I take this with l-theanine and coffee before my morning workout. It seems to be a very uplifting combination. I do a bit larger dose of 500mg l-theanine and 1000mg alcar.
