I wasn’t expecting much from this, but I was sincerely blown away at how relaxing it is. I feel it immediately and I become so calm and stress free. I take it before bed and I notice an extreme difference in how quickly I fall asleep. I will never run out of this one!
This is my absolute favorite lemon balm. I have both the powder and capsules for different times. I use this powder in drinks and smoothies when I want to mix my own stack. The capsules are better for on the go use. Both are great.

I get mild effects from taking 300 - 600mg, it’s much more effective taken sublingualy. Held under the tongue for about 10 minutes provides a very noticeable state of ease. Stacks well with caffeine. seems better for daytime relaxation.

I started on a nootropics journey, and spent well over $200 on my first order. out of all the products that I bought, this one seems to have the most noticeable effect. I am not as consistent as I should be, with taking things on a daily basis. The noticeable effects from this made me have more drive to make sure that I take it more often than not. This extract seems to be acidic or something, and if it gets on a surface and sits there... seems to melt on to it. It doesn't taste bad. I would say that the relief from stress actually made my ability to have higher cognitive abilities better than the things that were specifically for cognition. Hello Kitty products that I bought, this one also ended up being depleted, sooner than the others... I would recommend to get any larger bottle. This is worth it.
But, I'm not convinced it is sustainable. I have had some amazing nights sleep with this stuff, way better than before, but not every night in a row. Hard to evaluate when chronic pain is messing with the results of any supplement like this, which is my current experience. The nice thing is, when I did get those good nights, the mornings were welcome because I felt in a good mood. Less rumination overall.
Very high quality, potent lemon balm powder!
Having tried Lemon Balm tea before, I had expectations of a potency that was slightly above Melissa on its own. These expectations were easily exceeded. I feel a calm that is significantly stronger than l-theanine while matching what I've experienced with Kava Kava. Thanks ND!
I'm a fan of ND's generic Lemon Balm extract so I was excited to give this one a try. The smell and taste of this powder are noticeably stronger than the generic extract and the effects seem accordingly more potent. Great for unwinding in the evenings before bed time. It's 5x more expensive than the generic extract by weight and while I wouldn't say it's 5x more potent in subjective effects, there definitely seems to be a different balance of active compounds which makes it an interesting extract in its own right. I'd love to see an analysis sheet for the generic extract or another of ND's wonderful blog posts comparing these different extracts!
