Scientific Advisory Board

Every claim checked by a team of doctors and scientists.

An independent board of physicians, botanists, and pharmacology researchers reviews the evidence behind every Nootropics Depot product. What they approve, you can read in full.

What the board does

Independent review, not marketing sign-off.

The board has no stake in what sells. Their only job is to make sure the science behind each product's benefits is real, current, and honestly represented, and to send it back when it isn't.

The process

How every product gets reviewed.

Each product moves through five stages in a dedicated review tool we built for the board. Here is what they work through.

1

Review the details and claims

The board examines every product's dosing, timing, and benefit claims for accuracy and scientific support, before a single study is opened.

2

Check the cited research

Every claim is backed by published studies. The board reads the consensus across that literature, benefit by benefit, with the papers one click away.

3

Suggest changes

When a claim doesn't match the evidence, the board requests edits, alternate wording, or better citations. Every exchange is logged as a thread.

Dr. Faucette

"58% support is borderline. Soften the wording to 'may support' and add the 2021 lipid meta-analysis."

ND Response

"Updated wording and added the citation. Ready for re-review."

4

Approve the final conclusion

Nothing publishes until the board signs off on each benefit and its scientific summary. Approval is tracked for every member, on every product.

The board keeps refining the process and re-reviewing as the science evolves, so approvals reflect the latest evidence, not a one-time check.

Why it matters

What independent review buys you.

Accurate, honest claims

Benefits are worded to match what the research actually shows, no more and no less.

Evidence-based formulas

Every claim is tied to published, cited studies you can go read for yourself.

Safety and effectiveness

Dosing and timing are reviewed by clinicians, not just checked against a label.

Ongoing improvement

Approvals are revisited as new research lands, so nothing goes stale.

Read the evidence yourself

Don't take our word for it.

Every board-approved product has a public research snapshot: the studies, the scientific consensus for each benefit, and the reviewers who checked it, all in one place.
