Alaskan Salmon and Krill Oil Softgels

Alaskrill Fish Oil Information and Benefits

Produced in the USA, Nootropics Depot's Alaskrill Fish Oil 500mg softgel capsules includes 90% Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil, 10% Pure Krill Oil as well as 150IU of Vitamin D3.*

Harvested in waters off the Alaskan coast, Alaskan Salmon Oil is a natural source for essential Omega-3 Fatty Acids, EPA and DHA. Additionally, the Pure Krill Oil included is harvested from Euphausia Superba (Krill) found in the Antarctic Ocean. This Omega-3 supplement includes high phospholipid content as well as Astaxanthin. It is the Astaxanthin that helps prevent oxidation and degradation and is what gives these capsules their bright red appearance. Tocopheral is included to preserve freshness.

    Better than intended

I recently added this to my regiment and within only a few days had a perceptible change in my mood. Recently (2 years), I have been going through a lot of hardship and have generally been in a pretty deflated mood. While I am not positive by any means, I feel less negative and closer to neutral which is refreshing for me at this juncture. In general, I have felt more "empty headed" than ever before, which is a desirable effect for me. Typically I can not stop thinking, and this often manifests with negative emotions, or some form of distraction to switch tasks. With this, I have been able to sit, and just sit. Relaxation instead of constant information. The initial reason for my purchase was actually for my eyes though. I am taking Vitamin A as well as Lutien, in conjuncture with this. After the addition, combined with traditional eye exercises, I did notice a slight variation. However, it's hard to say if those changes I am noticing, are directly related to the addition of this substance, something else, or a combination. For context, my problem may be in eye coordination, not physical degradation. My plan from here, is to replace this with Pure Krill oil + 70% DHA fish oil, when they are back in stock. I wish to increase the amount of DHA+total Omega-3 intake and monitor the effects on mood, cognition, and sight. This drops the 150IU of D, but I already take 2k IU of that. In summery, it was worth the experiment in my case, and I plan to go further with this.
