Description

Palmitoylethanolamide Capsules

What Are Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Capsules?

Palmitoylethanolamide, or PEA, is a substance that is produced naturally within the body but was also isolated from egg yolk, soy lecithin, and peanut meal in 1954. Endogenously, this fatty acid amide binds to a receptor in the cell nucleus known as the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor. It plays an important biological role within cells in response to pain. Palmitoylethanolamide appears to be produced in the body on-demand in areas of pain.

Research over the past several decades is leading to a greater understanding of the compound and its efficacy in improving conditions marked by pain.

Palmitoylethanolamide Benefits

Although it is produced in our bodies, supplementation with naturally derived Palmitoylethanolamide may further help the body in response to pain. Research and clinical use in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany suggests that Palmitoylethanolamide may support a variety of pain states.

As more research is conducted this compound could prove to be useful in supporting pain management.

Palmitoylethanolamide Dosage

As a dietary supplement, take one 400mg Palmitoylethanolamide capsule daily.

    Helped my life

In my early 30's I was surprised by my level of neck pain; Thinking I should still be "too young for THIS." Chiropractor helped, but relief plateaued over time. Then, I had gotten some relief with peptides BPC 157 and TB 500. However, their effectiveness seemed to slowly taper off over time... So when I ran out of the peptides I tried these PEA capsules. Within a few days I noticed my neck was giving me less pain, and now after taking it consistently for a month or so I feel like I can live again without fearing the worst for my neck. I also noticed my neck physically pops more easily with this which I feel helps keep the pain from building up.

    Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Capsules

I think this product helps lessen the joint pain. My daughter shared this with me, and then I purchased another bottle. I have been taking 400 mg a day, after breakfast. This weekend, I did yardwork and repotted house plants, and was in enough pain from my hip that I took ibuprofen, which took care of the pain and let me sleep. The next morning, I took 800 mg, spent several hours doing more yard and plant work, and did not need ibuprofen. I took 800 mg again this morning. This does not stop pain as effectively as ibuprofen, but neither does it have the side effects. I combine it with several supplements recommended for joint inflammation. If I regularly take 800 mg a day, it becomes rather expensive. Do I recommend it? Yes, I recommend trying PEA because of its safety profile, and because it may moderate pain.

    Works without side effects

I have tension headaches most nights. I used to take Aleve or ibuprofen for it which trashed my stomach lining. This product works just as well with no side effects.

    Subtle

I took 1-4 capsules for a few days. The effects were too subtle to really tell how much they helped. Maybe calmer. I have read it can take weeks and a moderate dose of 1-2g to see results.

Ok taking 1 capsule a day and will start to take at least 2 per day. Kind of early but seems to help a little so far. Will let you know more in a month or so.

    Works for muscle pain!

I had sore shoulders from hunching over my desk all day. My back pain was intense and aggravating. This really helped clear up the pain I was experiencing. I still need to work on my posture, though. This is a good company and I really like the products that they sell. Q the quality of everything is very good.

    Had never tried PEA before

Noticed my hands weren’t swollen after the second day I took PEA, didn’t pay attention on the first day but on the second day I remembered to check my hands upon waking up and sure enough my hands weren’t swollen... I am happy and satisfied with this product,

    PEA 400mg Caps

I really like this product and I think that it does have the main action(s) that it's touted to, namely helps reduce inflammation and to some extent pain levels. Consequently I believe it can assist with a whole lot of conditions as a result. The only slightly negative thing that I've found, and this may be just a personal reaction, is that it feels like since I've been taking it my motivation seems to be reduced, difficult to know for sure if it's the PEA or the PEA in combination or some other factor. Overall I would recommend.

    Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) 400mg Capsules

I'm pleased to find this item. Using to reduce brain inflammation. Seems to be helping but have no scientific way to verify.

    Considerable potential

I'm using the PEA to treat effects of TIAs, since medical community have no ideas. Hard to evaluate this sort of thing, but seems it might be helping. Will be easier to judge if I can shed some other problems. P.S. I prefer this kind of review form to others I've seen.

    Still unsure

I’m on my 3rd month of this, I’m really not sure if it’s doing much. I have been taking one pill, twice a day and was ready to give up when I read that some people need much higher doses. I’m now taking two pills twice a day and I’m just waiting to see if that works. I’m willing to go up in dosage if it works, I have chronic pain that might need more to work. I give it 4 stars because I have zero side effects, the service and price are great and will bump it to 5 stars if it gets rid of my pain.

    Cant live without PEA

I cannot Express the gratitude I have for PEA. Please note there are different nootropic products going by the abbreviation PEA that are NOT the same thing. THIS product is a fatty acid found in egg yolks. It stops the inflammation/ allergic/ pain cycle at the mast cell. Look it up on youtube, there is a lecture by the WHO on chronic pain. It also helps mast cell activation (bad allergic reactions). It has been life changing for me. We use it also for autoimmune neuro-inflammation. A gift from God. Thank you for carrying this.

    It must work.

I have been using palmitoylethanolamide for about 3 weeks. I take one a day in the morning. I have suffered with severe pain due to a knee injury for over a year. Have tried numerous remedies. I was unable to walk long distances. I had to sit to do most things in the kitchen, etc. Now I can walk the dogs 1 2/2 miles 2 x's a day and not have to use the electric scooters in big box store anymore. The only thing I have done differently is start taking this supplement. I hope this helps because I do think it works. Not an overnight thing though. But worth it.

I take it 3 times per day for nerve pain in my legs. I had back surgery—thoracic & lumbar. The nerve pain has been dulled over the last month. I’m not feeling the terrible burning pain in my calves. So far so good.
