What Are Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Capsules?

Palmitoylethanolamide, or PEA, is a substance that is produced naturally within the body but was also isolated from egg yolk, soy lecithin, and peanut meal in 1954. Endogenously, this fatty acid amide binds to a receptor in the cell nucleus known as the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor. It plays an important biological role within cells in response to pain. Palmitoylethanolamide appears to be produced in the body on-demand in areas of pain.

Research over the past several decades is leading to a greater understanding of the compound and its efficacy in improving conditions marked by pain.

Palmitoylethanolamide Benefits

    I cannot Express the gratitude I have for PEA. Please note there are different nootropic products going by the abbreviation PEA that are NOT the same thing. THIS product is a fatty acid found in egg yolks. It stops the inflammation/ allergic/ pain cycle at the mast cell. Look it up on youtube, there is a lecture by the WHO on chronic pain. It also helps mast cell activation (bad allergic reactions). It has been life changing for me. We use it also for autoimmune neuro-inflammation. A gift from God. Thank you for carrying this.

    I have been using palmitoylethanolamide for about 3 weeks. I take one a day in the morning. I have suffered with severe pain due to a knee injury for over a year. Have tried numerous remedies. I was unable to walk long distances. I had to sit to do most things in the kitchen, etc. Now I can walk the dogs 1 2/2 miles 2 x's a day and not have to use the electric scooters in big box store anymore. The only thing I have done differently is start taking this supplement. I hope this helps because I do think it works. Not an overnight thing though. But worth it.

    I take it 3 times per day for nerve pain in my legs. I had back surgery—thoracic & lumbar. The nerve pain has been dulled over the last month. I’m not feeling the terrible burning pain in my calves. So far so good.

    I ordered this product along with Adrafinil (which is completely different but AWESOME if you need energy/focus). I thought this was "Phenylethylamine HCL" which also goes by the name "PEA". I'm not sure if it's a version of it, or if it's similar to it. But I didn't notice anything at all. I'm not mad though. This is a great company and I enjoy trying new things - trial and error. I'd encourage you to look this product up and then decide if it's right for you. I would give it zero stars, but I feel like it might be of benefit to someone else, so that's why I gave it three stars.

    My husband has been on pain pills daily for 8 years. Within a week of starting Palmitoylethanolamide, he has completely stopped taking them! Until we found this product, he would experience horrible effects after one day without them. We couldn't even stand to be around him. Now, he is a changed man, and even has more energy than before, without the side effects. Thank goodness for this product. It has saved our family!
