Pomella Powder | Natural Pomegranate Extract

Bought Pomella because one of its bacterial metabolites is urolithin A, which studies show induces mitophagy in damaged/old mitochondria. This is a process that happens with fasted exercise and keto, my preferred nutritional lifestyle. I thought Pomella might enhance these effects, and I couldn't be more pleased. Obviously no one is studying my mitochondria, but there is a noticeable energy boost when I take it. Eating keto also means that fruit is missing from my diet. Pomella, along with other ND products, lets me get some fruit polyphenols without the sugar. The mitochondrial effects probably have more effect on middle age and older individuals. A great stack with athletic and cognitive benefits for us older folks is Pomella, nobiletin and epicatechin. Nobiletin really compliments Pomella by increasing mitochondrial respiration (plus other benefits), and epicatechin helps with age related increases in myostatin and also increases brown adipose tissue. Throw in some hesperidin and tart cherry extract later in the day for even more of a performance boost.

Seems kinda weak. I havent even looked into their concentration ratio but I dont think its even listed. I finished my jar a while ago. Seems like a fairly good product but just too expensive to keep buying for me. If its an antioxidant you want, go get yourself a jar of emoxypine succinate. cheers. ND Admin: Pomella is standardized to 30% punicalagins. It's an extract of the husks of pomegranates, which is where punicalagins are the highest. An extraction ratio wouldn't really mean anything in this context. It's better to use a standardization % via HPLC.

Microbiome fanatic chiming in. Great source of punicalagins. Some probiotics sell products with this as a prebiotic ingredient and the mark up based off that nod is criminal. ND selling the powder straight is a blessing. I mix it with various prebiotics I feed my critters each morning, and have some alone later before a walk, great mood booster!

Great increase in recovery, "clean" energy levels, vasodilaton. There are also research papers out there that prove 16% to 30% increase in T levels after using pomegranate extracts, also good for cardiac health. I have been using this as adjunct to supplement regime and it has slotted in just perfectly. I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with my probiotics. It increases my energy levels and mental clarity. It is also a useful pump inducer for the gym. Would HIGHLY recommend testing out this nutritionally dense powerhouse.

I've had issues with frequent urination and the inability to hold it when I'm working or driving. I've done some great kidney cleanses that helped pass some stones. I have used different herbs that help the kidneys like horsetail and chanca piedra. I used a great prostate tincture a couple times, but it didn't have pomegranate in it. Nettle Root had a noticeable effect on my frequent urination, but it didn't seem to be permanent. It only worked when I took it. This pomegranate extract has worked wonders for me, however. I took the first container pretty consistently everyday. Things were getting much more manageable, less feelings of urgency to go pee. Now I take it maybe once every week or two and it has really helped with everything. Thanks for making this product available! I've been taking pomella @ 150mg once to twice daily, for about 3 weeks or so. I notice a nice sense of mental clarity. It's a great supplement.

It's been a few days since i've been taking pomella, and if there's an effect that i've noticed, it would be sense of ease and mental clarity. Placebo perhaps, but even so, the studies i've read supporting pomegranate benefits are convincing enough to encourage me to make it a staple, (especially prostate health, intestinal flora support, brain health).
