Cistanche tubulosa Powder

This has been a staple of mine long before ND released ther own version. Compared to other vendors, ND's cistanche produces a much more pronounced calming effect for me. You will definitely not get any acute in your face effects like tongkat. I take it in the evening on days when I have intense weight training sessions, usually with a big dinner. Tip for anyone using this to aid with muscle gain and workout recovery: try taking this with your biggest meal of the day following a workout. I definitely feel a difference when I have a big meal with it especially in sleep quality. I also seem to gain muscle mire easily when taking this compared to not taking it. Agmatine taken at bed time seems to work very well with this also. Bonus for the dudes out there, my balls are definitely more full while on this, especially when I'm bulking and taking agmatine.

Great product. I'm definetely feeling more energized while using it. My libido is also higher.

I don't find cistanche to be stimulating. In fact, I take it in the evening because I find that it improves my sleep (in part because it helps me get back to sleep in the middle of the night). I cycle this 5 days on, 2 days off.

Really good product I'm very surprised how good it really is effective in 2 days. I will definitely buy again and again. Only complaint is a bigger container option would be nice.

Wanted to try this for its effect on the microbiome and inflammatory cytokines. Two days in I feel a mood lift which could be placebo but also a definite reduction in histamine release. I usually take something like zyrtec plus 4 other natural mast cell stabilizers but cistanche seems to be doing a better job already! Combines very well with cissus and teacrine but very poorly with luteolin complex. I stupidly took both cistanche and luteolin for the first time together, Resulted in a noticeable reduction in histamine release as well as a mood lift, but the mood lift gave way to strong fatigue accompanied by joint pain/inflammation. No issues at all without the luteolin! Going to keep this in rotation and aim for 4 days on 3 off.

I tried ND's Cistanche after reading a lot of information about Cistanche's potential for increasing Testosterone levels in men. After finishing my container, & using a decent dose nearly every day, I do not feel that my test levels were significantly raised. I did not do a lab test for testosterone, but I did not experience any telltale signs of test boost either.

This review is coming from a non-responder to regular Cistanche extracts. I’ve taken 20:1 extracts with not many effects but this is the first Cistanche extract that I can actually feel. Within 30-45 mins of taking I can hear my voice is deeper, I have slightly higher energy levels, and my libido and focus is slightly increased as well. For me it’s not something that will kickstart your energy like 200mg of caffeine but it gives a natural boost in energy. Seems like it has good effects on the brain and androgens. Others may respond stronger to this product. The product may also get stronger overtime with a cumulative effect which I have not yet experienced as I’ve only taken it for one day.
