I've bought it to supply my phenylalanine levels
This stuff helped me to get out of motivation lows.
L-phenylalanine is a form of phenylalanine, which is an essential amino acid that is converted into phenylethylamine. As an essential amino acid, phenylanine is a necessary ingredient to health and proper bodily functions, but your body does not produce it naturally. Instead, you have to get phenylalanine from supplements and dietary sources.
As a nootropic. L-phenylalanine has been studied to numerous potential benefits to your health, and overall cognition.*
Phenylalanine supplementation has shown a wide range of benefits to overall cognitive wellbeing.* Studies suggest that phenylalanine may help to expand learning capacity, enhance alertness, and improve your memory.*
Many L-phenylalanine benefits are tied to how it potentiates the creation of several important neurotransmitters.* Some of the neurotransmitters phenylalanine supports include:
Many of these neurotransmitters are involved with mood balance. This suggest that phenylalanine may help to imbue feelings of joy and wellbeing, and support a more positive state of mind.* This may help fight against stress.*
Phenylalanine converts into phenylethylamine, which also encourages the release of norepinephrine. Studies show that phenylethylamine may primarily support feelings of wellbeing.* These good feelings may also come with distinct boosts to cognitive processes, including:
Other studies suggest that phenylethylamine may encourage improved mental clarity, a longer attention span, and greater concentration and focus on tasks.*
Phenylalanine also leads to the creation of tyrosine. Studies have found that tyrosine may be important to proper metabolic function and help reduce overall body fat. Other studies have also found that tyrosine shows powerful stress management properties.*
When you take phenylalanine, it is converted into other amino acids, particularly tyrosine and phenylethylamine. Phenylethylamine is considered a neurotransmitter or neuromodulator and has a direct effect on the release of norepinephrine, epinephrine, and serotonin. Tyrosine is a precursor to several similar neurotransmitters.
As a dietary supplement, take 500mg of L-Phenylalanine once daily.

This stuff helped me to get out of motivation lows.
I'm sure this product does what it's supposed to, but I honestly felt nothing. Which is saying a lot because this is a first... Maybe I need to take more of it to feel it or let it build in my system?
This is a good product and it helps a lot with stress, I have noticed a difference between days I dose this and days I don't. I'm not crazy about the taste but my expectation when I purchase nootropic powders is never that it will have a nice taste lol. Worth a try, especially if you have had positive experiences with NALT or L-Tyrosine, works in a similar fashion as it is a precursor.
Granted, I suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders. It turns out that many of my problems stem from a dopamine deficiency which is why I get addicted to everything under the sun. This stuff is a miracle to me. 500 mgs. and I feel a sense of relaxed joy that lasts all day long. L Tyrosine does roughly the same thing for me but seems more stimulating and has a more significant affect on motivation. I take many, many supplements but there are few that offer more bang for the buck by acting as dopaminergics than this and Tyrosine. BTW this affects me in a much better way than the more hyped DLPA.
I believe L-Phenylalanine helped with stress. After two days of taking 500mg (along with Acetyl-L-Carnatine, Na-R-ALA and Creatine, all of which I had been taking previously and which seemed to help with energy) I noticed a pretty dramatic boost in my mood and overall outlook on life. I had motivation similar to drinking a strong cup of coffee. This general positive feeling has not faded after a couple weeks of daily doses. I have been vegan for 15 years and only recently read that this diet can result in low levels of L-Phenylalanine. I believe I was not getting enough in my diet, and I have been recommending this supplement to all my vegan friends. Very glad to have come across this supplement!
