I've had trouble maintaining a regular sleep schedule, often staying awake too late. Nobiletin has had a notable impact improving this. Very strong bitter taste, but I don't find it unpleasant (I'm weird that way). Don't take it too shortly before sleep (bit stimulating).
Due to the nature of this particular supp - and it’s benefits in longterm cardiovascular health - it is particularly hard to feel in the short term. It does not provide any stimulation or cognitive boost for me, and I did not respond to any listed potential circadian rhythm improvements. I am sure it is a nice supplement for overall health, just not something I’ll notice.
Really interesting natural compound. I bought it for the amplifying effects on circadian rhythms. Definitely getting more restful sleep but have to take morning as it's slightly stimulating to me (I have significant sleep problems). Gives a clean brain boost and stacks well with Pomella and epicatechin. There's some interesting research out there on the regulatory effects of citrus biofaviniods (nobiletin, hesperidin and tangeritin) on brain microglia, which have many potential benefits to the aging brain. Only downside is the taste. It's terrible, but I still prefer powder over capsules with fillers. ND is about to release a capsule form, so if taste is a problem for you consider those. I am kind of curious what the other 80% of the powder consists of since it's 20% nobiletin. Really like this product and will continue buying.
As someone who has had non trivial sleep problems for a very long time this supplement is amazing. Acutely it makes me feel noticeably sharper which I've found to improve my reflexes when playing video games but that isn't why I take it. I take it because it makes me actually feel tired at night *and* makes it easier to wake up. But it has to be taken everyday to get these effects. For me it only takes a few days to see results. I have also noticed that taking it in the evening rather than morning is better for me because when I take it in the morning I start to feel sleepy a little too soon. Overall this offers a ton of utility for a sleep supplement and its definitely going to be in my stack forever.
I started taking this in the morning before my fasted cardio and I noticed that I had a little more energy in my run. However, I don't notice other than that. I would say this would be another good alternate for tart cherry if you want a little extra in your cardio workout. Otherwise I'm still trying to find where else it could shine
