My mind feels like it did 5 years ago
LM doesn't have an over 'hit'. It takes multiple weeks for the benefits to become properly evident, but man oh man, are they ever worth the wait.
Over the past several years I've noticed slipping in things like my typing speed & accuracy, as well as my verbal fluency (specifically my ability to speak without tripping over my own words). I was able to directly trace drops in my capabilities to the weeks and months proceeding instances of traumatic head injury, but I was never able to do anything but accept my losses.
Lion's Mane changed that. I feel like my old self again. I can get 'in the zone' like I used to and let my thoughts just flow onto the keyboard without constantly having to stop due to mistypes. Will definitely be keeping a supply in my aresenal for my later years. Alzheimer's runs on my Mother's side of the family and it's a life-changing weight off my shoulders not having to just lie down and accept the fact that I'll lose my sense of self in 30-40 years.
*Do note that if your brain is perfectly healthy, you might be better off investing in something like Piracetam for performance enhancement. LM is better suited to people like myself who are seeking to repair existing damage or treat developing conditions (like Alzheimer's). It's a neuroprotective compound, not an overt enhancer.
