Very good product, the only problem is trying to dilute the powder in water/juice, it won't. I tried yogurt and it does well. I wish there was better way.

What is Curcumin?
Curcumin, also known as turmeric extract and curry extract, is a constituent of the turmeric spice but is also found in smaller amounts in other food sources like ginger. It takes a bold, bright yellow hue, which is why it’s also used in cosmetics and food coloring. Curcumin is a polyphenol, which is a micronutrient with health-promoting properties. Our extract is standardized to 95% curcuminoids.
How to Take a Curcumin Supplement
Curcumin is not easily absorbed by the body and requires the help of an enhancement, otherwise the nootropic supplement is essentially going to waste. One way to ensure better absorption is to take Curcumin with black pepper extract (piperine). Curcumin is a fat-soluble nutrient which means it can be taken with a fat source for better nutrient absorption. Fish oil is a great way to enhance the antioxidant effect of Curcumin Powder.
How Does Pairing Curcumin with Piperine Work?
Piperine is most commonly used to enhance bioavailability of other supplements, most famously, curcumin. Research has found that a piperine supplement may increase the bioavailability of curcumin by as much as 2000% from baseline levels. Piperine is able to achieve this by inhibiting or downregulating inhibiting phase II detoxification enzymes as well as the glucuronidation process in the liver. Glucuronidation attaches a glucuronide molecule to compounds so that they can be excreted through the urine. Piperine inhibits this process which may lead to elevated levels of certain compounds in the blood.

As a dietary supplement, take 500mg of Curcumin 95% Extract once daily.

Great product, but care must be taken as it will readily stain clothing.

High quality
This is a high-quality curcumin. I use it without piperine or black pepper. Even though it has poor absorption, it impacts your gut in a healthy way. Be aware: it stains everything. You should be REALLY cautious with this powder.

How could someone give less stars "because it stains everything"?? That is literally the same as punishing your dog for having brown fur! Nootropics Depot (using top tier laboratory equipment) produced an ULTRA high quality curcumin powder that is as pure as it gets. Do you think they took shortcuts or added some red coloring to it? No. Curcumin is what it is. The fault lies with the buyer that doesn't know what they are buying, not nootropics depot. I just had to say something, since some have given lower ratings because it stains everything, and I am just surprised because this is simply the nature of curcumin, not anything to do with this company.

Get Capsules
Buy these in capsules. You do not want to deal with the powder. People in the comments are not joking that it will stain EVERYTHING. I ruined two articles of clothing the first time I dealt with it and I was aware that it stains things. I can't speak for the product itself as after the first use I won't touch it. Only giving two stars just based on the nature of this product being in powder form. It's too risky. Nootropics Depot is great and I trust their products, I just can't recommend this in powder form. It's a dye.

Curumin Powder
I started taking Curcumin a year ago when I found out Turmeric spice you buy at the grocery store only has a fraction of actual curcumin in it, and curcumin is where all the health benefits come from, not actually the Turmeric. To get the best overall health bennifit from Curcumin you need 1500 mg twice a day, and to get that much out of Turmeric one would have to ingest a pound to turmeric, which is a lot, and no one is going to take that much turmeric, so I do the curcumin extracted from turmeric thing. Which Nootropics Depot Curcumin is.

Great for gut health
I've been taking this for a few weeks without piperine or any other absoprtion enhancer. It works surprisingly well for gut health and definitely improved my bowel movements. The powder does not clump and the taste is good, although it does stain everything. I haven't really noticed any specific cognitive benefits but that's probably to be expected considering curcumin's low bioavailability.

Best I've found
I have a lot of inflammation from auto immune disorders. I try to avoid prescription drugs whenever possible. I've tried a lot of curcumin products. I find the quality to be better than everything I've tried.

Great but leaves stains
Before I used this product my Achilles tendon, and knees were hurting from running....after the product I ran 10 5ks in ten days pains free! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the way the powder STAINS EVERYTHING
