L-theanine Capsules

What is L-Theanine?

First discovered as a constituent of green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) in 1949. L-Theanine is a non-proteinogenic amino acids and is considered a nondietary amino acid, not unlike L-Ornithine or L-Citrulline. L-Theanine is primarily known for its ability to promote relaxation without causing sleep and is often paired with Caffeine. It is thought that L-Theanine helps balance the negative effects of Caffeine that some people experience. Together, L-theanine and Caffeine are considered one of the most commonly used and popular nootropic stack options that may promote faster reaction time, numeric working memory reaction time and improved sentence verification accuracy.

Documented participant responses claimed that exhaustion recovery and feelings of being refreshed were enhanced by L-Theanine.

L-Theanine supplementation has been studied for its potential ability to reduce mental and physical stress, improve cognition, and boost mood and cognitive performance. It is also reported to promote alpha wave production in the brain. One study conducted by Unilever was able to confirm that even small amounts of L-Theanine were able to promote alpha wave production as indicated on an EEG (Electroencephalography).

    I find this to be an extremely effective and gentle solution to fall asleep and wake restfully! Not only is it an economical solution, but I know it's just strong enough to take even if I can't commit to a whole 8 hours of sleep!

    Hubby and I take this supplement often. A few years now. It has helped out a lot. That little extra kick in energy and mental focus is great. I take mine with coffee in the morning a few days a week. Really helps cure the Mondays. Clear minded and ready for solutions with this one.

    Nothing I thought it would be

    After reading lots and lots of very great reviews and people saying it either changed their life or did nothing, I thought I'd try my shot. This thing only makes me light headed and kind of prevent me from thinking straight. I can't work normaly after taking this and it has no significant impact on my anxiety (coffee driven or not). I also noticed I felt somewhat more emotional after taking it. And I'm a bit more social, in the sense that I talk more to people. I was expecting either good or no benefit from taking it, knowing everyone can't react the exact same way, but this is pretty bad for me. Maybe it'll work for you, there's countless people saying how much it was a godsent for them, just wasnt my thing.
