Still a bit early to judge, but so far my brother is pleased
The issue with lion's mane is that the studies are lacking, but where there isn't enough scientific certification, this product largely makes up for it with the experience of people. Some anecdotes are more biased than others, some are even outlandish, fueled by great amounts of placebo effect. So, I'll keep it real for you - this won't cure your ADHD. It probably won't cure any other condition. However, it may counteract a few symptoms, and in that regard, I find lion's mane to be a worthy palliative. Not just that, it may prevent exacerbation of said symptoms and it may even drive away some more complex and serious disorders (dementia and Parkinson's, for example. Take it with a grain of salt though, since there are too many variables at play here). Anyhow, by administering this supplement with low expectations, you might keep at bay the placebo while also getting surprised when the thing actually works wonders for you. I'd say it's worth a shot, especially with the 8:1 extract (generally, I wouldn't bother with the 1:1, but whatever floats your boat). That's not to say that you won't get any benefit if you don't suffer from mental hurdles; quite the contrary. My brother, for example, experienced elevated mood, focus, easier recollection of words, decreased irritability, motivation and perhaps a few other subconscious things - only after two days of administration. Not all of these benefits are related to placebo, especially for someone who was skeptical at first. Now, I said two days... Imagine what would happen after a few weeks of consistent and cumulative use. We'll wait and see; in the meantime, I would like to point out that the price is fair considering the quality, but take into account shipping costs as well. Luckily I had to buy a few other things, but if it wasn't for that, I highly doubt I would've paid 40+ dollars for a mere month of use, particularly for something that took one month to arrive. This isn't exactly Nootropics Depot's fault, and the promo codes can only help so much, but the truth is still there. Do you really need this? Then pull the trigger, and if it works, consider ordering in bulk and/or locally instead. If you're in the US, of course this is a non-issue.
