This is what makes magnesium glycinate and magtein so unique, because the glycine and threonic acid that those forms of magnesium are bound to, produce beneficial effects.     Helps me sleep and is clean

    I went straight from Magtein to this form and didn't notice a huge difference, but when I ran out I didn't purchase any more magnesium supplements so went without for a few weeks. I noticed about 2 weeks ago I started having trouble falling asleep (longtime issue I've had in the past) wondering why it's taking 2 hours to fall asleep all of a sudden. I'm guessing the magnesium was making it much easier and I miss it when it's gone! I'll be trying the other forms now to see the difference. It mixes well with water and I tested it with an at-home kit for heavy metals and potential pathogens and it all came back clear of any of that.

    The best magnesium for drink mixes

    A tasteless, odorless, and freely soluble form of magnesium that doesn’t cause GI upset? YES, PLEASE! I’ve tried citrate, glycinate, oxide, carbonate, threonate, sucrosomial, you name it. For use as a powder in drink mixes, none of them check as many boxes for me as this one. The price itself is less than stellar, but the advantages of this glycerophosphate form are so numerous that it’s still a solid value for me. If you’re looking for the perfect form of magnesium for your electrolyte mix, here it is.
